Bytes to GB
Converts bytes to gigabytes (GB) and gibibytes (GiB).
Convert bytes to TB and TiB, the two ways drive sizes get reported. Use it to see why a new 1 TB drive shows about 931 GB in Windows.
TB = bytes ÷ 1,000,000,000,000 TiB = bytes ÷ 1,099,511,627,776
At the terabyte scale the gap between the two is almost 10%.

Nothing is missing. The drive holds exactly the advertised number of bytes, and Windows divides by 1,024 at each step instead of 1,000. The figures above are rounded down, as Windows shows them. Formatting then uses a small extra amount for the file system.
1,000,000,000,000 in SI units. A tebibyte (TiB) is 1,099,511,627,776 bytes.
The drive holds 2×10^12 bytes. Windows divides by 1,024⁴, which gives about 1.82 TiB, but labels it "TB".
1,000 GB in SI units, or 1,024 GiB in 1 TiB.
Often used together with the Bytes to TB.
Converts bytes to gigabytes (GB) and gibibytes (GiB).
Converts any data-size unit to all other units at once.
Estimates how long a file takes to download at a given speed.
