weekly timesheet with overtime
A one-week timesheet with a row per day, overtime, and pay.
Enter your start time, end time, and unpaid break to see how many hours you work. The work hours calculator projects the figure over a week, a month, and a year.
day = (end − start, +24 h if negative) − break week = day × days month = week × 52 ÷ 12 year = week × 52
| Hours per week | Average per month | Per year |
|---|---|---|
| 35 | 151.67 | 1,820 |
| 37.5 | 162.5 | 1,950 |
| 40 | 173.33 | 2,080 |
The monthly figure is an average. Months have between 28 and 31 days, so the number of working days in any given month varies. Multiplying weekly hours by 52 and dividing by 12 gives the figure most employers use when they turn an annual salary into an hourly rate.
The yearly figures don't subtract vacation or public holidays. Take those days off the total if you need the hours actually worked.
Subtract your start time from your end time, then subtract unpaid breaks. Multiply by the days you work to get a weekly total.
Subtract it if it is unpaid. Paid breaks count as work time.
A 40-hour week comes to 2,080 hours a year (40 × 52) before vacation and public holidays.
Use the Time Card Calculator. It takes different times for each day of the week.
